Tales from Lurgyville

The winter lurgy has caught up with me in what should be the nice enjoyable season of spring. Now I can't go outside because the sunshine stings my eyes and until today the computer screen was far too blinding for my sensitive eyes. I'm feeling a little better than yesterday though the dizzyness, fevers, body aches, headaches, ear aches AND eye aches remain with me. In the very least I can walk properly today.

I had some really special posts lined up but I'm afraid while this lurgy is with me I won't have the brain power to carry them out. In the meantime I'll share a few little tid bits with you.

DimitySO on Farmer Wants A Wife: I found this out from Nat's blog which was a pretty neato to wake up to this morning. Nat's got the link up on her blog so pop over there to have a squizz. The three of us show up in poster form for a split second at 19:41. Hah! Famous ... sort of.


One more day until Holidays: I haven't been to TAFE in 3 days (I'm not missing anything important, thankgod) but tomorrow I HAVE to suck it up and go to finish just one last assessment. At the end of the day all us girls are going to Sizzler again for our end of term chow down.

This time it's particularly siginificant as we are being merged with another class next term. Our class has dwindled down to a meagre 8 members, which is a waste of money according to administration. So half of another class is joining us. Looks like we're going to have to stake out our favourite tables.

Fashion Forward: Looking over the contents of my blog the past year, I've been appalled to notice how little I've focused on fashion. From a fashion student's perspective I'm rather ashamed of myself and I vow from now on to post more about what is my central focus these days. Things I'm going to inlcude are daily outfits, examples of my work and more coverage on the fashion events I visit or am incolved in.

I'm aware that every man and his dog these days does 'daily outfit' photos on their blogs but the audience seem to dig it. And I know I would love to have a little photographic archive of the all the cool outfits I've put together. There are so many I can think of looking back that I never got a photo of and it makes me sad I didn't capture that moment *sniff*

Also I've never really posted my work up here because I've been worried about it being stolen, which is just bollocks really. I really need to stop hiding under a shell and just put myself out there. If it's up here everyone should know I thought it up first. Right? Right!

Three Years ♥: Three years ago this day my boy and I got together. Amazingly I still got a kiss this morning even though a fidgety, squirming feverish Drea kept him up all night. Is that true love or what? I'm just hoping I'll feel well enough to attending a celebratory dinner dinner for two tonight. Hopefully a dose of ibruprofen will do the trick.
