My brand new tattoos!

I got my rose tattoos on my hips coloured on Wednesday. Please excuse my undone pants, there is no other way to get them that low to show all the the tattoos. I took these photos the morning after. I did take some a couple of hours after they were completed but they were still really raw and my poor Bambi shirt had souvenir blood in it.



It's amazing how odd one's belly button looks when you point a flash at it. Hmmm. I sure am glad it doesn't look like that all the time.



As great as tattoos are the downside is having to heal them. It sucks more than the actual tattooing itself. The excess ink stains your bedsheets, you feel every bend and stretch of the anatomy they cover and then they get really, really itchy. Carrying large items has been somewhat awkward and bending over to pick things up off the floor is definitely no fun. Thankfully it feels better with each day, and before I know it a week will have passed and my new ink will be almost completely healed.

... now, I'll have to finish that arm of mine sometime.
